 COCO FOR HONEY MASK

Coconut + Honey

 

This DIY hair mask is perfect for damaged ends or generally brittle hair caused by the daily wear and tear on your hair as both of these ingredients have revitalizing properties. This is a great quick DIY hair mask, which only has two ingredients.

Coconut milk is filled with essential vitamins that promote hair growth. These properties also work a detangling the hair whilst naturally conditioning the hair. Honey is also another great natural product for the hair as it has regulating and preserving moisture properties. It also promotes and strengthens hair follicles.

 What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon of Honey

Directions:

  1. Heat up the ingredients (low heat) on the stove until they are completely mixed together.
  2. Massage the mask into the roots of your hair and work your way to the ends.
  3. Leave hair mask on for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Then, wash your hair as normal.

WHAT? NO MORE DANDRUFF MASK

Avocado, Extra Virgin Oliver Oil + Jojoba Oil

This is a great mask for dandruff hair, dry scalps or just to add moisture to boost your hair.

Not only is avocado a super healthy food, it has a variety of vitamins and minerals that help restore dull looking hair and stops frizz whilst deeply conditioning. Extra virgin olive oil replenishes hair and moisturisers the scalp whilst jojoba oil will also moisturize the scalp and increase the reproduction of hair cells.

Use this mask weekly to help get rid of those frizzy bits!

What you’ll need:

  • A small avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil

Directions:

  1. Mash up the avocado with the extra virgin olive oil and jojoba oil.
  2. Work the mixture into the roots and then down to the ends.
  3. Leave for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Then, wash hair as normal.

 EGGSCELLENT MASK

Egg, Avocado + Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Get eggsxcited about this mask (okay I’m stopping with the eggs references J)

These ingredients will have you queening round your city with super strong, thick and smooth hair.

As good as eggs are for Breaky, they are even better for your hair. They are filled with protein, vitamins and fatty acids that will leave your hair super thick, smooth and silky. Not to mention, the egg yolk helps with split ends. Avocado and extra virgin oil olive will condition your hair and help manage those flyaways.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 egg
  • Half an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

  1. Whisk the egg.
  2. Mash the avocado until smooth.
  3. Add the whisked egg and extra virgin olive oil to the avocado.
  4. Thoroughly mix together.
  5. Starting from the roots work the mixture into the hair and work your way up to the scalp.
  6. Leave for 30 minutes.
  7. Then, wash hair as normal.

This is an overnight deeply moisturizing mask, which will leave your hair super shiny and well conditioned. This mask only has two ingredients and is super quick and easy to do.

Coconut oil is one of the best natural products to use on your hair as it’s loaded with fatty acids, which deeply condition your hair and reduces breakages. Not to mention, it has antibacterial agents to help fight a range of scalp issues such as dandruff and acne.

Almond oil is just as beneficial to your hair as it contains Omega-3 fatty acids and a range of vitamins, which help strengthen hair. Keeping it strong, silky and shiny even through all the day-to-day damage your hair endures.

What you’ll need:

  • 1/3 cup of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of almond oil

Directions:

  1. Mix the two ingredients together.
  2. Work through dry hair from roots to tips.
  3. Leave for an hour or overnight for more intense results.
  4. Then, wash as normal.
